I am a Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB) and Animal Training Instructor (ATI) registered with the Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC), as well as a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB) registered with CCAB Certification Ltd. I hold a First-Class BSc (Hons) degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour and Welfare from Harper Adams University.
I’m passionate about improving animal welfare and helping owners better understand their pets. My approach is always grounded in evidence-based, reward-based methods that focus on building trust, confidence, and lasting change for both animals and their families.
My career began working with dogs and cats in boarding kennels, catteries, and a rescue centre, where I gained invaluable experience with many different breeds, temperaments, and behavioural needs. After helping my own dog overcome behavioural challenges, I developed a deep empathy for owners struggling with similar issues — and a drive to support them in finding kind, effective solutions.
I have years of experience working as a behaviourist and training instructor, supporting owners with a wide range of concerns, including reactivity, aggression, separation-related issues, anxiety, and compulsive or destructive behaviours. Alongside my behaviour work, I also mentor aspiring behaviourists through Second Nature Behaviour, helping them develop their practical skills and professional confidence.
I support pet owners across the West Midlands, including Staffordshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire, East Cheshire, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, and parts of Leicestershire and Warwickshire.
