Clarissa Baldwin CBE

Clarissa has retired as CEO of Dogs Trust where she worked for 40 years. During that time the charity has become one of the largest and most respected animal charities. Clarissa coined the slogan “A Dog is for Life...not Just for Christmas" which underlines the charity's ethos of non-destruction of healthy dogs. Training and behaviour forms an important part of the daily kennel routine. Clarissa was the main spokesperson for Dogs Trust and regularly briefed Government Ministers on dog welfare issues. On her retirement she was invited to become a trustee of Dogs Trust, she is also a trustee of Mission Rabies, a trustee of the Pet Plan Charitable Trust and is a Life Vice President of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. She was awarded the OBE in 2003 and CBE in 2015 for her work in animal welfare.

Dr Bruce Fogle MBE, DVM, MRCVS

Bruce Fogle is a member of the RCVS, BVA and BSAVA and holds honorary memberships of veterinary associations in Japan, Norway and Spain. He has written in excess of 50 books, mostly on dog and cat care and training and some have been translated into over 30 different languages. He has also written original scientific articles for journals in the UK, USA and Canada and commissioned review papers published in scientific journals in seven other countries. Bruce has been Veterinary Consultant to Microsoft Encarta and Veterinary Advisor to the Encyclopaedia Britannica. He is also the Chairman of the board of Humane Society International and the Co-founder and Vice Chair of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. He was appointed MBE in 2004 for services to deaf people.

Stephen Dixon

Stephen Dixon is a broadcaster and journalist. Growing up in the Lakes, the Dixon family always had cats, often strays taken in, and from this Stephen's love of animals was born. He is passionate about protecting the rights and needs of animals, recognising the role they play in our lives. Stephen is proudly owned by black and white rescue cat Timmy, who is confident he has greatly improved the quality of Stephen's life.

Zazie Todd PhD

Zazie Todd, PhD, is an animal behaviour expert and the award-winning author of Wag: The Science of Making Your Dog Happy, Purr: The Science of Making Your Cat Happy, and Bark! The Science of Helping Your Anxious, Fearful, or Reactive Dog. She is the creator of Companion Animal Psychology blog and has a column at Psychology Today. She has a PhD in Psychology, an Advanced Certificate of Feline Behaviour (with Distinction) from International Cat Care, and is an honours graduate of the Academy for Dog Trainers. Originally from Leeds, she lives near Vancouver, Canada, with her husband, a dog and a cat.
